LIN, PIN CHUN

River Huang
Huang won Golden Bell Best Leading Actor in 2007 with Dangerous Mind, as the youngest winner in history. In 2016, he won Best Leading Actor at Taipei Film Award with The Tag-Along. His films include The Tag-Along franchise, The Painting of Evil, The Magnificent Bobita, and Tracey. He also appeared in TV series, such as Dangerous Mind, The Victims' Game, and The Cleaner. Recent works include Copycat Killer, Black Tide Island, and The Lives We Lease.

Huang Xi
Screenwriter and director. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, he worked with Hou Hsiao-hsien on Goodbye South, Goodbye 1996 and The Assassin 2015. His debut feature Missing Johnny 2017 was nominated for Best New Director at the Golden Horse Awards and won four Taipei Film Awards. His series Twisted Strings 2021 won four Golden Bell Awards. His latest film Daughter’s Daughter 2024 premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival Platform and the Tokyo International Film Festival Main Competition, where it later won Best Original Screenplay at the 61st Golden Horse Awards.

Chan Ching-Lin
Chan won Best Director at Taipei Film Award with short film A Breath From The Bottom. His first feature film, The Island That All Flow By, was nominated for Golden Horse Best New Director. The same title brought him Golden Bell Best Writer and Director in Miniseries/TV Film. His second feature film, Coo-Coo 043, was nominated 13 times at Golden Horse Awards, and won Best Feature Film.

Teresa Kwong
Teresa KWONG is a producer, promoter, and curator for film and cross-disciplinary arts practices. Previously the Programme Director of the Hong Kong Arts Centre, Teresa has led ifva Incubator for Film and Visual media in Asia, a regional platform for nurturing the next generation of media creative talents between 2004 and 2014. As an independent film producer in media ranging from film, documentary, animation to VR, her works have been screened at Berlinale, Venice, San Sebastian, Golden Horse and other major film festivals. 2024’s All Shall Be Well by Ray Yeung was the Berlinale Panorama Teddy Award winner. Her latest producing feature documentary, Palimpsest: the Story of a Name Mary Stephen, 2025 just got two major awards the best documentary and best editing at the 62th Golden Horse Awards 2025.

CHIANG Hsiu Chiung
After performing at A Brighter Summer Day, Chiang shifts her focus behind the camera. She has directed both feature films and documentaries to capture details in daily life, and emotional undercurrents between people. With authentic images, she portrays tender and resilient forces. Over the years, she has received multiple recognitions. Hopscotch won Golden Horse Best Feature Short. Her documentary, Let The Wind Carry Me, won Grand Prize at Taipei Film Award. Chiang was also invited to Japan to direct The Furthest End Awaits, and won People’s Choice Award at Taipei Film Festival International Competition.

Vincent Chui
Chui is an independent film director and executive producer from Hong Kong. He is the co-founder of Ying E Chi, an independent film institute, and has served as artistic director since 2014. He is long committed to making, promoting, and distributing Hong Kong films since 1990s. He has received independent short and video awards in Hong Kong. Chui worked with Ann Hui in his first film As Time Goes By. Later, his film Fear of Intimacy was selected into Taipei Film Festival and Moscow International Film Festival. Leaving in Sorrow was selected into Jeonju International Film Festival and Deauville Asian Film Festival. He relocated to Taiwan in 2024, and continued to create and develop independent films.

HSU, Yating
Hsu Yating b. 1983, Taipei; MFA, SAIC is a versatile filmmaker whose practice spans documentary, narrative, and experimental cinema. Her humanistic storytelling includes the acclaimed short The River Ann Arbor Film Festival and her 20-year magnum opus, Island of the Winds. The latter won the Grand Prize, Best Documentary, and Best Editing at the 2025 Taipei Film Awards, received the Cannes Docs IEFTA Award, and was nominated for a Golden Horse Award. Renowned for her prowess in directing, screenwriting, and editing, Hsu consistently explores social issues and personal history. From her early award-winning Life With Happiness to her latest triumphs, she remains a pivotal and deeply resonant voice in contemporary Taiwanese cinema.

HSIAO Mei-Ling
Hsiao Mei-ling, born in Keelung, Taiwan. After studying at the National School of Art and Design of Nancy, she graduated from Le Fresnoy National Studio of the Contemporary Arts in 2000. In 2007, her film 《Somewhere over the Cloud 》received Special Mention of New Asian Currents at Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival. In 2022, 《 Parallel World 》was selected in International Competition at IDFA and DMZ International Documentary Film Festival, winning the Directors Guild of Japan Award at YIDFF, Japan. Currently, she serves as an professor in the Department of the Arts and Design at the National Taipei University of Education.

Chia Kuen HSIEH
Hsieh graduated from University of Kent with media production degrees. He previously worked in film production, documentary production, and photography journalism. He also taught in National Taiwan University of Arts. His previous films, Bonnie & Denny and Searching for Brodsky, were selected into Taipei Film Festival. He also produced Blue Plague and Birthday, both selected into Venice Film Festival. The Secret in the Satchel was selected into International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam. His latest work as executive producer, Soul of Soil, was nominated for Best Documentary at Golden Horse Awards and Taipei Film Awards. Hsieh has also published several photography books.

Lin Kuan-Hui
Lin Kuan-Hui received an MFA in Film Directing from Taipei National University of the Arts and is a screenwriter and director. Her feature directorial debut, Secrets in the Hot Spring, was followed by her first series, Oh No Here Comes Trouble. Her works often blend fantasy with reality, using humor to tackle heavy subjects. She aims to transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries through sincere storytelling, leaving audiences with a lasting sense of warmth and hope.

TSAO Shih Han
TSAO Shih Han, Director and screenwriter from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Selected for the Golden Horse Film Academy and Berlinale Talents. His short films A Dream of Spring and The Neko and Flies both received grants from the Kaohsiung Film Fund and were selected for the International Competition at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. The Cat and the Fly was also nominated for the Golden Horse Awards and won the Jury Special Prize at the Golden Harvest Awards. His works have been widely recognized and screened at international festivals. In 2025, he published an essay collection titled Long Take. His debut feature film Before the Bright Day was selected for the New Directors Competition at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. The film was also nominated for three Golden Horse Awards: Best Director, Best Art Direction, and Best Costume & Makeup Design.

Forest Wen
Wen started her career as child actress in advertisement. She is now a film, television, and stage actress, as well as TV host. Previous series include A Touch of Green, Seqalu, Shards of Her, and You Are My Sister. Previous film titles include Blood and Ties, The Bold, the Corrupt and the Beautiful, The 9th Precinct, and Love Punch. She won Golden Bell Best Miniseries Supporting Actress with Dawn/Spring, Golden Bell Best Miniseries Leading Actress with The Last Verse. She was nominated for Golden Horse Best Supporting Actress twice with The Sun and Leave Me Alone. Wen also won Golden Bell Best TV Host with Three Piglets Season 3.

Meng-Ju Shieh
Shieh graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts. After working at Central Pictures Corporation, he founded ZABA films in 2015 with the focus on editing. He won Taipei Film Award Best Editing with The Tag-Along: The Devil Fish, Golden Horse Best Editing with The Soul. He has multiple nominations for Taipei Film Award, Golden Horse Awards, and Golden Bell Awards. Previous titles include Detention, Copycat Killer, Bad Education, and The Victims' Game. In 2025, he directed the first feature film Mudborn.

Chia-Hua Chin
Director and screenwriter. In 2019, he won the Golden Bell Award for Best Screenplay for a Mini-Series for “A Cold Summer Day”. In 2020, his short film “Lucky Draw” garnered multiple awards, including the Golden Harvest Award and the Kaohsiung Film Festival International Short Film Competition, and was shortlisted for the International Competition at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival. His debut feature film, “Trouble Girl”, was nominated for seven Golden Horse Awards, winning Best Actress, and also won Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards at the Taipei Film Awards. His second feature film, “A Ghost in the Market”, currently in post-production, was shortlisted for the 2026 Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum HAF WIP Project and won two awards, including the Red Sea Fund Award.

Ching-Hsuan Lin
Ching-Hsuan Lin is a Taiwanese animation director, researcher, and curator, and currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Multimedia and Animation Arts at National Taiwan University of Arts. Her work spans animation practice, criticism, curating, and academic research, with a focus on independent animation, moving image culture, and spectatorship. Her film Breathe won Best Animation at the Taipei Film Festival and the South Taiwan Film Festival, and received a Special Mention at Filmfest Dresden. Her film Unidentified has been selected for multiple international film festivals, including the competition section of the Hiroshima International Animation Festival.

Tang Zhi-Zhong
Head of TurnRhino Studio, Tang possesses a visual design background and extensive experience as a stop-motion animator, director, and producer. He excels in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and resource integration. He has contributed to iconic Taiwanese stop-motion films, including the Golden Horse and Taipei Film Award-winning Where Am I Going?, and the internationally acclaimed Little Hilly. His VR animation, The Sick Rose, was also selected for the Venice Film Festival VR Competition. His 2026 series, I'm Chen Pai Pai PTS, unites passionate stop-motion artists. Through the gentle persistence of frame-by-frame crafting, Tang continues to infuse pure emotion into original Taiwanese stories.

Vance Yang
Animation Director / Producer Awarded the Notable Entry Award at the Tokyo International Anime Fair and a Golden Horse International Shots Competition and Animago Award nominee for his original short film 《Monster Coin》. He served as producer and editor for the Golden Horse-winning feature animation 《City of Lost Things》. The latter earned Outstanding Technical Achievement at the Taipei Film Festival and a Gold Medal at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival, with further animation nominations at Annecy and Bucheon. He directed the animation series 《MuMuHug》, a Golden Bell nominee distributed in over 100 regions with 22 million YouTube views. For the Taiwan original animation series 《Jade Armor》, he served as co-executive producer for its development and pilot, which premiered on HBO Max in 2022.

Vick Wang
Vick Wang is an animation director and Chair of the Department of Media Communication Design at Shih Chien University. His animated works have received more than 70 international awards, including recognition from the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and have been licensed in nearly 100 countries. As co-director and producer of “GoGoGiwas,” he won two Golden Bell Awards for Best Animation Program. He was invited to speak at TEDx Taipei in 2018. In recent years, Wang has expanded his practice into immersive interactive art and virtual reality. In 2024, he released “LUDA” ,a Taiwanese original 3D animated feature film developed over a ten-year period.

Tu was nominated for Golden Bell Awards multiple times. He won Golden Bell Best Writer with Family Time. In 2021, he wrote and directed the first feature film My Best Friend's Breakfast, nominated for Golden Horse Best Adapted Screenplay. Over the years, he has written for multiple popular series on Netflix, such as Light the Night, Living, At the Moment, and Holi-Day. In 2025, he was selected as “Screenwriter of the Year” by Taiwan Screenwriters Association.

CHANG CHIA-LU
Born in 1970, received his MA in Drama Studies from National Taipei University of Arts. He has previously worked as magazine editor and TV program planner. At present, he is the executive producer and creative director of CKF Film Productions Beijing. CHANG is an 8-time winner of the GIO Excellent Screenplay Awards. He garnered a Golden Horse Award in Best Adapted Screenplay with A WORLD WITHOUT THIEVES, while his work of THE MESSAGE and KORA were nominated in the same category. In 2007, CHANG won China Times Literature Award in Taiwan with a short novel titled THE TERRORISTS. His recent works include FOREVER ENTHRALLED, DETECTIVE DEE and the MYSTERY OF PHANTOM FLAME, TAICHI 0 and TAICHI HERO, YOUNG DETECTIVE DEE: RISE OF THE SEA DRAGON, THE GHOULS, DETECTIVE DEE: THE FOUR HEAVENLY KINGS. Wong Edmond(Jury President)
Edmond Wong began his career as a film critic. For more than forty years, generations of audiences get to understand film and learn about the trends in the world cinema through his writing. Wong had promoted Golden Horse Film Festival and been involved in the establishment of Taipei Film Festival and Taiwan International Documentary Festival, which broadened the audiences’ horizons. While Wong was the director of the Chinese Taipei Film Archive, he prioritized the cultural asset preservation. For decades, Wong has dedicated himself to promoting culture and film education as an academic and educator.
