  • Shiang-Ling LIN

    Lin graduated from Graduate Institute of Filmmaking at Taipei National University of the Arts. Her television film The Last Verse 2017 was selected into New Currents at Busan International Film Festival. As an executive producer, her film The Abandoned 2022 was recognized by film festivals, and reach global audience via streaming platforms. In recent years, she has produced multiple outstanding films, including Dear Ex, The Soul, A Boy and a Girl, and Salli. Lin also participates in TV series, such as The Victims' Game, Wave Makers Best Miniseries at 58th Golden Bell Awards, and Yong-Jiu Grocery Store Best Director at 55th Golden Bell Awards.

  • Kevin Chang

    Chang graduated from Graduate Institute of English at National Chengchi University. He has been publishing filmmaker interviews and film critiques on media, including China Times, CommonWealth, and The Reporter. He was a jury member for various prizes and awards, such as Golden Horse Awards, Taipei Film Awards, Kaohsiung Film Festival, and National Awards for Arts. In recent years, he is also involved with audiovisual projects and script development, such as Detention, and See You, Sir. He used to work at 1 Production Film and An Attitude Production, and now works as a freelancer.

  • Hsu, Li-da

    Hsu is a filmmaker and writer that graduated from Department of Filmmaking at Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2011, his short film True School received several recognitions, including Golden Harvest Awards, Best Asian Student Film at International Student Film and Video Festival in Beijing, and Japan Prize. In 2017, his television film The Long Goodbye won Best Director, Writer, and Television Film at 52th Golden Bell Awards. In 2023, his first feature film, A Boy and A Girl, was selected to Busan International Film Festival and Munich International Film festival. It was nominated for Golden Horse Awards and Taipei Film Awards.

  • FU Meng-po

    "Born in 1987, Fu Meng-po graduated from the Department of Theatre Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts. In 2016, he made his debut in the television drama Ba Ji Teenagers and began practicing Baijiquan a traditional Chinese martial art; this role won Fu a nomination for Best Male Lead in a Television Series at the Golden Bell Awards for the first time. In 2017, Fu won Best Male Lead in a Miniseries or a Television Film at the Golden Bell Awards for the television film The Last Verse; the judges described his performance as “natural and yet practiced.” In 2018, Fu was nominated Best New Performer for Father to Son at the 55th Golden Horse Awards. In 2019, chosen by Jackie Chan, Fu played a martial art specialist guardsman in the period film The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, demonstrating his great fighting skills. In 2023, Fu won Best Supporting Actor at the 25th Taipei Film Awards and was nominated Best Supporting Actor at the 60th Golden Horse Awards for the film Day Off.

  • Norris Wong Yee Lam

    Norris WONG Yee-lam is a director, screenwriter and lyricist from Hong Kong. She received her Master of Fine Art from Baptist University of Hong Kong. Her works as a screenplay writer include feature film “Let it Ghost”, drama series “Margaret & David - Green Bean” and “The Gutter”. She was nominated for the 56th Golden Horse Awards for Best New Director and won the New Director Award for the 39th Hong Kong Film Academy, with her debuted feature “My Prince Edward”. Her second feature film, The Lyricist Wannabe, was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay Golden Horse and won Best Original Film Song Hong Kong Film Awards in 2024

  • Michelle Chu

    "Chu is a producer and documentary filmmaker. She was a jury member for National Cultural & Arts Foundation and Golden Harvest Awards. She now operates Backstage Studio, and teaches at National Chengchi University. Over the years, she focuses on documentaries about challenges in different stages of life from a female perspective. Previous works include Two Girls, Summer Vacation, Floating Woman, Commemoration, Someone Else’s Shinjuku East, Darling How Are You?, Starfish Girl, Legit Moms, Illegitimate Kid, and Queenie Classy Lusty Baby. Chu has won multiple domestic and international awards. Her films have been selected into Women Make Waves Film Festival and Golden Horse Film Festival."

  • Lee Hsiang-Hsiu

    Lee is an independent filmmaker that graduated from Temple University in film and multimedia arts. She has retired from teaching jobs at Shih Hsin University. Her documentary, The Lost Kingdom, won Jury Award at Taiwan International Documentary Festival in 2000. Chronicle of the Sea, Nan-Fang-Ao won Best Documentary at Golden Horse Awards in 2004. Black Bear Forest received First Prize at Taoyuan Film Festival in 2017.

  • WOOD LIN

    Since 2013, he has served as the program director of the Taiwan International Documentary Festival TIDF, and since 2020, as the program advisor of the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam IDFA. Additionally, he supervises the research and program division at the Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute, overseeing responsibilities such as research, publication, film programs, and TIDF. He is also the editor-in-chief of "FILM APPRECIATION," the magazine and he has been honored with the prestigious Golden Tripod Award. The program he curated, "Imaging the Avant-Garde: Taiwan's Film Experiments of the 1960s," has been featured at various international film festivals and institutions. Wood LIN has also served as a juror for esteemed film festivals, including the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Ji.hlava IDFF, Sheffield IDFF, ONE WORLD, RIDM, and more.

  • Kuo, Li-Hsin

    Critic of visual culture, PhD in Media and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and part-time professor at College of Communication, National Chengchi University, Taiwan. His recent publications include More Writings on Photography 2013, Interrogating Reality: Politics and De-politicisation of Documentary Film 2014, and Manufacturing Meaning: Discourse, Power, and Cultural Politics in Realist Photography 2018.

  • Maso Chen

    Believing that visual storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to change the world, the director observes how people respond to social phenomena and shares these insights through film. Documentaries serve as a medium for dialogue between individuals and society, aiming to create meaningful works with a positive impact. With a strong focus on life-related themes, the director hopes to inspire the public to reflect on the value of life.

  • Wang,Li-Wen

    Wang graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts in scriptwriting. After writing for television companies and travel books, she focuses on scriptwriting. Her previous works, After 30 Seconds, Rock Baby, Dawn/Spring, were nominated for Best Miniseries Script at Golden Bell Awards three times. With Jump Ashin, she was nominated for Best Original Script at 48th Golden Horse Awards. She also received Outstanding Film Script Prize from Ministry of Culture with Jump Ashin and The Mighty Bobita. In 2018, Wang received First Prize for Outstanding Film Script with High Flash. In 2020, The Summer Temple Fair was nominated for Best Television Script. The latest work is The Uniform, a film in 2025.

  • Kimi Hsia

    Hsia is an actress, writer, illustrator, and TV host. Her works span across film, television, theater, and short films. In 2024, she was nominated for Best Leading Actress at Golden Horse Awards with Yen and Ai-Lee. In 2023, she was nominated for Best Leading Actress in Miniseries at Golden Bell Awards with On Marriage. In 2011, she won Best TV Host at Golden Bell Awards with Stylish Man The Chef. She appears in feature films Yen and Ai-Lee, Girls, Be Ambitious, Nina Wu, The Rope Curse, Turn Around, Zone Pro Site, TV series Let's Talk About CHU, On Marriage, Women in Taipei, Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner, and short films Lost.

  • Chih-Yen Hsu

    Hsu is known for making music videos for hip-hop musicians. His works are versatile in style and sophisticated in narrative. Since 2018, he has switched to feature films, documentaries, and VR short films. Previous titles include Dear Ex and I Missed You. In recent years, he focuses on script development. His recent TV series and film scripts with Mag Hsu were both selected into Golden Horse FPP.

  • Lien Chien Hung

    Screenwriter and director. Works include the short films “The Drizzling” and “100th Birthday Wish”, the feature film “Salli”, and the series “First Note of Love”. The works are known for their fresh and humorous style and have won the Most Promising Talent Award at the Osaka Asian Film Festival."

  • Jenny Lu

    "Jenny Lu earned both her Master’s and PhD degrees from the University of the Arts London. Her creative work explores the sense of unfamiliarity found in the familiar. Her short film The Man Who Walked on the Moon won the “Best Fantasy Award” at the 2015 Amsterdam Film Festival. Her debut feature film, The Receptionist, offers a poignant look into the lives of East Asian migrant workers in illegal massage parlors in the UK, presenting layered interpretations of “home” and female identity. The film received several honors, including “Best Emerging Director” at the 2017 Asian American International Film Festival, “Best Feature” at the Sochi International Film Festival in Russia, and “Best Picture” at the Atami International Film Festival in Japan. The screenplay also received Taiwan’s Excellent Screenplay Award. Lu has served as a jury for the Ehime International Film Festival in Japan and voter for the British Independent Film Awards. Her work continues to highlight cross-cultural themes and women’s narratives through diverse perspectives."

  • CHIU, Li-Wei

    Chu has directed multiple award-winning animations. Previous works, including The Little Sun, Barkley The Cat, The Weather Boy, and PIGSY Express, have won Best Animation Show at Golden Bell Awards. His animated shorts, The Sorrow For the City and The Forgotten Treasure, received Best Animation at Golden Harvest Awards. Stars by the Window was nominated for Best Creative Short at 41st Golden Horse Awards. Barkley The Cat was nominated for Best Animated Feature at 54th Golden Horse Awards. PIGSY received Best Animated Feature at 60th Golden Horse Awards and Taipei Film Awards.

  • Chiu-Ling Chen

    Animation director and illustrator Chen graduated from Graduate Institute of Animation and Film Art at Tainan National University of the Arts. She uses hand-drawing styles and sophisticated views to explore poetic and fantastical narratives. Her works range from film, advertisement, to publishing. Animated short The Other Side won Best Animation as Taipei Film Awards. Me and Me was selected into festivals in Ottawa and Zagreb. She continues to create illustrations and animations.

  • Hsieh Peiwen

    Hsieh is an animation director from Taiwan, specializing in paint-on-glass animation and 2D animation. Previous works were selected into Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and received Golden Harvest Awards, Best Animation at South Taiwan Film Festival, and Jury Prize at Kaohsiung Film Festival. She produced Where Am I Going? that won Best Animation at Golden Horse Awards and Taipei Film Awards.

  • JACKIE WANG

    Wang is a seasoned producer in Taiwan that blends genres and social issues. Previous films include The Scoundrels, Ripples Apart, Sweet Alibis, and Make Up. His portfolio also includes TV series, such as The Murder Case in Fairy Valley, and Sunset. The latter was nominated for Best Series at Golden Bell Awards. The latest work, Would You Like a Cup of Coffee?, focuses on coffee makers and culture.

  • Chi-Jan HOU

    Born in Taipei, Chi-Jan HOU is known for his lyrical visual style and consciousness of time. His works range from fantasy, romance to queer issue. His debut feature, One Day, premiered at the Berlinale 2010. His other films were screened at numerous film festivals, including Tokyo, Rotterdam and Venice. Hou won awards at the Taipei Film Festival and Fantasia International Film Festival Montreal.

  • Alice KO

    Ko started her career in Jay Chou’s music video in 2005, and acted in her first film Do Over the next year. She appeared in multiple films selected into Taipei Film Festival, such as Monga, The Bold, the Corrupt, and the Beautiful, and Who Killed Cock Robin. Her performances in TV series have won Best Leading Actress at Golden Bell Awards twice Marry Me, or Not? / Someday or One Day. In 2022, she demonstrated comedy capacities in Netflix series Mom, Don't Do That. In 2023, she played a crime psychologist in Copycat Killer. She published the first essay collection in 2021.

  • Kai KO

    In 2011, Kai KO debuted in the coming-of-age romance film, "You Are the Apple of My Eye", winning the Best New Performer at the Golden Horse Awards. KO’s popularity rose rapidly in Asia. Since then, KO has played the leading roles in many films. In 2015, he went to Thailand to shoot "The Road to Mandalay", in which he transformed himself from a teenager into a mature actor, winning his first nomination for Best Leading Actor at the Golden Horse Awards. In 2022, KO won Best Actor for "Till We Meet Again" at the Taipei Film Awards and in the same year, he received another nomination for Best Leading Actor at the Golden Horse Awards for "Moneyboys". In 2022, KO directed his first feature, "Bad Education", winning a nomination for the Best New Director at the Golden Horse Awards. The film was praised at many film festivals in Taiwan and abroad. Meanwhile, KO starred in several television dramas. In 2024, He wins the Best Supporting Actor Miniseries or TV Film for “Imperfect Us” at the Golden Bell Awards. He has built a high profile and strong fan base in Chinese-speaking regions.

  • Sidney Hu

    Hu specializes in sound design and production coordination in feature films, short films, documentaries, and television films. In 2009, he founded SoundArt to serve festival films, commercial films, and TV series. In 2019, he was nominated for Best Sound Design at 56th Golden Horse Awards with The Scoundrels. In 2023, he was nominated for Best Sound Design at 58th Golden Bell Awards with Maro'ay to ko kerah. In 2023, he was nominated for Best Sound Design at 60th Golden Horse Awards with Trouble Girl.

  • Hsia shao-yu

    Hsia is experienced in cinematography and production design. He is known for advertising and animation. He has participated in multiple films as art supervisor, such as Betelnut Beauty, Blue Gate Crossing, Exit No. 6, and Meeting Dr. Sun. He was also director of photography in several films, including Jump Ashin, Together, and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?. In 2022, he won Best Cinematography at Taipei Film Awards with Leave Me Alone. In 2007, he directed a short film KAWAII. It was selected into festivals in Rotterdam and Clermont-Ferrand, and won Best Director at Golden Harvest Awards.

  • Tung Yen Hsiu

    Tung is a costume designer for nearly two decades, and operates Chapeau Noir, a suits brand, for 11 years. Her works have appeared in films, advertisement, and music albums. In 2022, she supervised Super Nova section at Taipei Film Festival. She won Best Costume Design at 23rd Taipei Film Awards with I WeirDo. Her works in Incantation were nominated for Best Costume Design at 59th Golden Horse Awards.

  • Essay Liu

    In 2010, Liu won Best Scriptwriting at Taipei Film Awards and Best Adapted Script at Golden Horse Awards with Seven Days in Heaven. Her key works include Salli and All Because Of Love. Liu also coordinated writers in multiple TV series, such as Mr. Right Wanted, Rock Records In Love, and The Coordinators. Her literary works have won novel and essay awards, and published multiple books.

  • Tanya Chua

    Chua is renowned vocalist, songwriter, music producer, and composer from Singapore. She has won Best Mandarin Female Vocalist at Golden Melody Awards four times. She has also received Best Album Producer, Album of the Year, and Best Studio Album over the years. Chua has produced and sung original soundtracks for multiple films, such as Touch of the Light, From Vegas to Macau II, and Wu Kong. Her song in TV series Imperfect Us received Best Original Soundtrack at 59th Golden Bell Awards, and 6th Asia Contents Awards.

  • SU Pei-Yi

    Su has edited for a wide variety of films, such as Seediq Bale, KANO, Paradise in Service, BIG. Her works in The Silent Forest was nominated for Best Editing at Golden Horse Awards and Taipei Film Awards. With Miss Shampoo, she was nominated for Best Editing at Taipei Film Awards. Su has also worked in several TV series, and secured multiple Best Editing nominations at Golden Bell Awards, including Port of Lies, Days We Stared at the Sun II, and Heaven on the 4th Floor.

  • CHEUNG CHI LEUNG JACOB(Jury President)

    Jacob Cheung, born in 1959, is a renowned director and producer from Hong Kong. He graduated from TVB's Artiste Training Center and began his career as a line producer for major studios, contributing to classics like "Ace Goes Place" and "Mr. Vampire." Cheung made his directorial debut in 1986 with "The Last Eunuch of China," marking the start of a successful career. He is acclaimed for exploring themes of human nature and social issues in films such as "Beyond the Sunset," "Cageman," "Intimates," and "A Battle of Wits." Dedicated to artistic integrity, he produced significant works like "This Thing Called Love," which blends urban life and culture, further solidifying his reputation in the film industry.

  • Chong Keat Aun

    A Malaysian director, performing artist, and community arts project curator. In 2020, his debut feature, 「The Story of Southern Islet」, won Best New Director, FIPRESCI Prize, NETPAC Award at The 57th Golden Horse Awards, FIPRESCI Prize at 45th Hong Kong International Film Festival. 2023, his sophomore feature, 「Snow in Midsummer」, premiered at 80th Venice Film Festival and won Special Mention Musa Cinema & Arts Award, received 9 nominations at the 60th Golden Horse Awards, and subsequently won the Firebird Award for Best Film at 48th Hong Kong International Film Festival. 「Pavane for an Infant」his third feature film premiered at 37th Tokyo International Film Festival.
