Story Introduction

Herman YAU, born in Hong Kong in 1961, is a prolific filmmaker whose has directed nearly 80 films across thrillers, crime, and comedy. His cult film The Untold Story (1993) gained international attention, while The White Storm 2: Drug Lords (2019) was Hong Kong’s Oscar submission for Best International Feature Film. His latest work, We Are Nothing (2026), is a self-financed production.
