Kangdrun
Kangdrun, an emerging Tibetan female director, explores the relationship between her upbringing and her homeland. Studying outside Tibet deepened her awareness of the fusion between Tibetan and Han Chinese cultures. Her films reflect on identity and belonging. She founded the “Start Unit Youth Video Week,” showcasing debut works by Tibetan directors.
