  • Sabrina BARACETTI (Jury President)

    Born in Udine in 1967, Sabrina Baracetti studied cinema and graduated with a Human Arts degree in 1994 and became the president of Centro Espressioni Cinematografiche (C.E.C.) in 1995. Her deep passion for Asian Cinema gave birth to the Far East Film Festival (FEFF) in 1998, whose explicit aim was to promote the understanding and appreciation of popular Far East and South-East Asian cinema in European audiences. It is now the largest festival completely dedicated to popular Asian cinema in the West. Sabrina Baracetti has been the FEFF’s president since 1999. In 2008 she became head of acquisition of Tucker Film, an independent film distribution company based in Udine, that has brought to Italian screens a number of recent hits, such as Yeon Sang Ho’s Train to Busan, Kore-eda’s After the Storm and Reign of Assassins by John Woo and Su Chao-Pin. In 2011, Sabrina Baracetti co-founded Ties That Bind, an innovative programme aimed to promote co-production projects between Asia and Europe.

  • HSIEH Hsin-ying

    Starting as a model, this versatile Taiwanese actress was discovered by director Hou Hsiao-hsien. She won Best Supporting Actress at the 43rd Golden Horse Awards for Reflections (2006) and Best Actress at the 13th Taipei Film Awards for Make Up and Honey Pupu (2011). A multi-time Golden Bell nominee, she was also nominated for Best Leading Actress at the Golden Horse and Taipei Film Awards for i WEiRDO (2020). Her notable portfolio includes the blockbuster Gatao - The Last Stray and the hit Netflix series Light the Night and At the Moment.

  • Jun LI

    A post-90s screenwriter and director, Jun holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Philosophy in Gender Studies from the University of Cambridge. His filmography as writer-director includes Tracey (2018), Drifting (2021), and Queerpanorama (2025). He served as producer on Fly Me to the Moon (2023). His theatrical works include Song of Grief (premiered 2018, re-run 2019) and In a Perfect World (2025). He won the Golden Horse Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Director for Drifting and Queerpanorama respectively.

  • LIEN Yi-chi

    A graduate of Culture University’s Drama Department, he served as assistant director for Cape No. 7. Known for a versatile style, he masterfully blends suspense, crime, and romantic comedy. His filmography includes Make Up, Sweet Alibi, All Because of Love, and Let's Cheat Together. He was the director of the Netflix hit Light the Night and served as lead director for At the Moment. With solid storytelling and sharp commercial intuition, he is a premier talent across film and global streaming platforms.

  • Eiko MIZUNO-GRAY

    The CEO and delegate producer at Loaded Films in Tokyo. She has produced Ten Years Japan (executive producer Hirokazu Kore-eda), Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s To the Ends of the Earth and Chie Hayakawa’s Plan 75 which won the Cannes Caméra d'Or Special Mention in 2022 and was Japan’s official Oscar entry. Her latest production, Hayakawa’s Renoir, has been selected in the Official Competition at Cannes 2025.
